Good News Bible Study

An ongoing Bible study at TUMC for almost 30 years, led by Bob and Barbara Macomber. This small group promotes the Prophetic Church, which is in concert with the Holy Spirit, by studying the Holy Bible and its application to life.

An 8-week study, led by Rev. Nancy Wood, that explores basic spiritual practices. How do you pray? How do you read and learn from the Bible? How do you live in authentic relationships with others? Join us as we build a strong foundation of faith.
Catalyst Small Group
Sunday, 11:00 am-Noon; Upstairs, Catalyst Cafe’
An opportunity for youth in grades 7-12. Join as we dig deeper into the Bible, which is a window into the heart and mind of God. See how His Word can apply to your life.
Spark Sunday School
Sunday, 9:15-10:15 am; Spark Room
Students in grades K-5 learn Bible stories through interactive lessons which include crafts, skits, games, and more. Our dedicated teaching team rotates each week. On the first Sunday of each month, there is no Sunday School, and students are encouraged to attend worship with their families and receive communion.

Middle and high school youth gather once each month to share a meal and participate in activities that are both fun and promote growth as believers in Jesus.
Second Monday, 10:00 am; Fellowship Hall
Ladies gather on the second Monday of each month for a time to intentionally meet Jesus Christ through devotion and prayer, a program led by members of the group, fellowship, and service. Priscilla Circle partners with House of Hope, Heifer International, and other organizations to provide help for our neighbors near and far.
Tuesday, 5:30-7:00 pm; Choir Room
A talented handbell choir which meets weekly to rehearse. Trinity Ringers plays for Sunday services once each month, from October-May, as well as for other events.
Hooks and Needles
Every Other Wednesday, 10:00 am (see calendar for dates); Fellowship Hall
Ladies gather every other Wednesday to share their love of knitting and crocheting. Members make prayer shawls which are blessed by the Pastor and distributed by our visitation team, baby hats that are donated to local hospitals to be given to newborns, as well as their own creations.
Spark Kids’ Club
Wednesday, 4:00-5:30 pm; Spark Room, Choir Room
Students in grades K-5 meet each week to explore Christ’s love through interactive games, activities, crafts, and more. From 5:00-5:30 pm, students learn songs and basic music skills that enable them to share their gifts of song with the congregation during Worship services several times a year. If students are unable to arrive at 4:00 pm, they are welcome to join us for Spark Kids’ Choir, which begins at 5:00 pm.
Wednesday, 4:00-5:30 pm; Bob Engle Room
A 12-week class, led by Rev. Lyn Snow, based on the book "Boundaries: When To Say Yes, How to Say No to Take Control of Your Life" by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend. This biblically-based study helps us explore how to set healthy boundaries with family, friends, coworkers, and even ourselves! Cost of book is $5. Contact the Church Office for more information.
Great Stories in the Bible
Wednesday, 6:30-8:00 pm; Bob Hobby Room
An ongoing Bible Study led by Pastor Anil Singh that explores amazing stories about amazing people found in the Scriptures. The stories themselves range in genre from action and adventure, to royal intrigue, to romance, betrayal, exile, survival, deliverance, and salvation.

Wednesday, 6:30-8:00 pm; Bob Engle Room
An ongoing Bible Study led by Roy Emmett that digs deeper into the history of the Bible, focusing on the factual accounts of real events, places, people, and dialogue. This group also explores maps of ancient locations, family lineage, and biblical timelines.
Chicken Soup for the Soul
Thursday, 10:00-11:00 am; Bob Hobby Room
A support group which meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month, led by Rev. Lyn Snow, Ph. D, for those in need of emotional or spiritual support. This is a place where anyone can find encouragement to lean on God and His people through the trials of life.
Thursday, 7:00 pm; Choir Room
This is the rehearsal time for Celebration Singers, the praise team which leads the congregation in worship at our weekly Celebration Service, and the Chancel Choir, which shares special music selections and sings hymns at our weekly Traditional Service.
Holy Spirit and Prayer
Friday, 10:00-11:00 am; Bob Hobby Room
An ongoing Bible Study led by Barbara Macomber and Stella Skelton that explores how the Holy Spirit worked through chosen people of the Bible, and continues to work through God’s people today. This group spends time together in prayer, offering praise, thanksgiving, confession, and petition.
Men’s Monthly Breakfast
First Saturday, 8:00 am; Cabana Dunes
Men gather on the first Saturday of each month for breakfast, and a program that encourages their spiritual growth and invites them to use their gifts to serve others. They spend time planning for upcoming events, such as the annual 9-11 Remembrance display, Veteran’s Day service, Pancake Breakfasts, and more.
